In the process of product development, we have created unique technologies such as sensor technologies, solenoid valve technologies, voice control technologies, motor control technologies, LDC control, communication technologies, and water-saving technologies for various equipment. Our outstanding developing capabilities have been recognized not only in the aviation industry, but also in food industry, medical equipment industry, and bullet train and railway car industry, and have been introduced and applied to various electrical products. Water conservation and touchless operation are our strength.

02reason Flexibility

We handle from structural design to prototyping and mass production in-house

Experts in structural design, circuit design, and program design are in VAITAL. We have our own factory that can handle both small lot and mass production, so we can complete everything in-house, from specification consideration to design, prototyping, evaluation tests, parts procurement, assembly, and delivery. We can develop products in roughly half the time it takes other companies by utilizing our basic circuit patterns. We can deal with cost saving and quick delivery. We can also handle customization requests such as lightweight, compactness, durability, and usability.

03reason Japanese-made

Domestically manufactured, and 90% of parts are made in Japan

About 90% of the parts that constitute our products are sourced domestically, and all of them are handled by the manufacturing department in our factory. We put quality first, and never compromise in material selection, assembly, and final inspection. Our commitment to quality has been well received and VAITAL’s sensor faucets boast the No.1 market share in Japan. Recently, we have received increased recognition overseas and have exported over 200,000 units to North America.

25% of the world’s market share for sensor faucets for aircraft

Approximately 17,800 VAITAL sensor faucets have been installed in the large jet passenger aircraft “Boeing747” and “Boeing777”, and the mid-sized jet passenger aircraft “Boeing787” developed and manufactured by the Boeing Company of the United States. We have a 25% share of the global market for sensor faucets for aircraft*1 and have enough knowledge and know-how in the aviation industry.
In addition, we have a 100% share of sensor faucets for bullet train lavatory.*2

05reason Quality control

Quality control and quality assurance on a worldwide basis

In 2024, we obtained JIS Q 9100 certification, a quality management system dedicated to the aerospace industry. We conduct design reviews with the quality control department during the design, engineering, and prototyping processes, in addition to process guarantee that complies with prescribed workflows, work procedures, and judgement criteria. Together with ISO 9001, the international standard for quality management systems, and JIS B2061, the certification mark for water taps, JIS Q 9100 guarantees VAITAL’s quality.
